I wish I could post twice in order to give the food 5 s and the service! We were greeted promptly and warmly and the server was very attentive to us. He definitely wanted to make sure we were taken care of and made to feel welcome along with answering any questions about the menu.  I wish I found out his name!
Now to the nitty gritty; the food. I have eaten Persian food since I was young and can tell you their quality was on point.  Not too greasy with the perfect amount of flavor! I ordered the Saltino which is a combo of the beef kubideh and the flank steak. The kubideh was the perfect texture and the seasoning was done just right. The steak was tender and flavorful. The saffron rice...come on, there's no such thing as bad saffron rice. My boyfriend had the kubideh and the chicken, both cooked to perfection.
We will definitely be coming back and bringing everyone.

I've been here a few times, and had not visited in a while. Wow was it disappointing to order some shish kebabs and koobideh as a to go order here at Zaytoon. I don't know where to start.

They reheated days old stale pita bread. The baba ganoush was all mixed together with the burned eggplant pieces in there with seeds and all. It tasted burnt and dark. It was very bitter.

I got the mast Khiar which is the yogurt with cucumbers dip and they didn't even bother to put fresh herbs it was just a handful of dried out herbs they tossed in there.

The sides were disappointing and I haven't even gotten to the entrees. I was very very disappointed with the koobideh kebabs, they were very very dry. The shish kebab beef pieces were so dry and just cooked till there was nothing left in them. You couldn't eat them it was just beef jerky. They really couldn't get one thing right. I don't know what happened to this place.

There was no care or love in preparing anything at all here. Just churn it out and have people shove the dry, stale and terribly prepared ingredients down their throats.

On top of all this I can't help but mention. They nickel and dime you for everything. I bought a lot of stuff here and they still charged me a $1 credit card fee. I asked for some extra bread with my food order, the older gentleman said a dollar extra. It was appalling how they treat a customer. He already rung me up so I was supposed to fork out a dollar for an extra piece of bread. Just because a customer doesn't give you a response when you try to get a dime here and there doesn't mean they don't see or realize what's going on.

My husband and I wanted to enjoy our last meal before we headed to the airport and decided to check out this place. It's a restaurant and a market. Half of the store is where they sell groceries and the other half is where they serve food to their customers.

I ordered the koobedoeh with half rice and half shiraz salad and my husband ordered the Shish kabob with half rice and half Shiraz salad. We also ordered hummus and received complimentary bread. We enjoyed our meal very much and it was very filling.

The shiraz salad was refreshing, I just loved the taste of it! Our waiter was very nice and made sure my husband and I were satisfied with everything!

I highly recommend this place if you're close by!

When you think Kebab, think Zaytoon

I was brought to this place by one of Santa's elves back in 2016, superb food and great service, quaint and cozy, tasty yet not overpowering.

Great spot for lunch in a town with so many sub par establishments.

Great food, casual atmosphere, very friendly staff. Cozy decor and very clean. Prices aren't super cheap but the quality of the food is well worth it, and the food is served quite promptly. The place was busy but not too crowded on a weeknight. I went in after the grocery store portion had closed but sometime I will be back to check it out. Lovely spot!
